I know the lettuce is bolting, I'm just getting so much from my CSA I can't eat it all! I'm going to harvest it to take to the end-of-the-school-year potluck and share the goodness. Too bad - that means it's about done for the year. Like its close relative the dandelion, the leaves get very bitter once it starts to flower.
