Very nice set up. At the moment, my mash tun is being used at our restaurant for making stocks - can't wait to fill it with a grain bill again.

Sxip is an absolute blast to have a meal with. after he played at the arts center i used to work at, we all went out together. he and my girlfriend hit it off and had a good time talking, but they were both so tired that their heads keep sinking lower and lower until i thought they were going to meet forehead to forehead above their leek soup and fall asleep.

It's a special occasion place for sure as it's not cheap...and you don't know how much it is until you get your check. But it's amazing!

I am SO going to have to try this sushi place. One of my favorite sushi meals was for my anniversary a few years back. We went to our favorite sushi place. It one of those that is run by a family and they make you feel like family. My type of restaurant. Anyway, Simon, the head chef and owner hears us tell, Jane, his wife, the head waitress and owner, that it's our anniversary. And he says, "Oh I will make for you" All off the menu things made just for us. Heaven.

I am with you on the washing mushrooms! (on the cream and cheese part too actually) I remember seeing an Alton Brown episode where he completely debunked the "they'll absorb water!" myth and have been guilt free in my washing ever since. That soup sound wonderful...milk free too...yum!
